Fundraising
At Blue Butterfly Montessori Pinner, we believe it is important for children to develop kindness, empathy, respect and an understanding of the importance of helping others within the wider community.
Throughout the year, we take part in a variety of fundraising initiatives and community events supporting important charities and causes, including organisations such as Crackerjacks, Sports Relief and Cancer Research. These experiences are carefully incorporated into our nursery curriculum through meaningful learning opportunities, creative activities, bake sales, themed events and sponsored activities that support children’s social, emotional and personal development through meaningful shared experiences.
Our fundraising activities encourage teamwork, communication skills, compassion and a strong sense of belonging while helping children understand the importance of making positive contributions within their community.
Our local community
Located close to the heart of Pinner, our nursery benefits from strong links within the local community and surrounding environment.
Children are provided with meaningful opportunities to explore the local area through supervised outings and real-life learning experiences that help develop confidence, independence, communication skills and an understanding of the world around them.
Visits within the local community support children’s social, emotional and cultural development while encouraging curiosity, positive relationships and respect for the diverse community around them.
