Curriculum

At Blue Butterfly Montessori, our curriculum is designed to provide children with meaningful learning experiences that inspire curiosity, confidence, independence and a lifelong love of learning.

Guided by the teaching principles of Maria Montessori and supported by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, our curriculum combines child-led exploration, hands-on learning and purposeful play within safe, nurturing and language-rich environments.

We recognise that every child is unique and develops at their own pace. Through careful observation and personalised learning experiences, our experienced Early Years Educators support each child’s individual interests, strengths and stage of development while promoting emotional wellbeing, communication and language development, creativity, problem-solving skills and school readiness.

Our carefully prepared learning environments encourage children to become confident, capable and independent learners through meaningful opportunities to explore, discover and develop essential life skills.

Through a balance of structured activities, open-ended exploration and enriching experiences, children are supported across all areas of learning and development, helping them flourish socially, emotionally, physically and academically.
