Blue Butterflies is our carefully prepared preschool room designed for children aged 30 months to 5 years, providing a safe, nurturing and inspiring environment where children are supported to become confident, capable and independent learners.

Guided by the Montessori approach and supported by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, our curriculum is tailored to each child’s individual interests, strengths and stage of development through meaningful learning experiences, hands-on exploration and purposeful play.

Within our mixed-age learning environment, children benefit from opportunities to learn alongside and support one another through collaborative experiences that help develop confidence, resilience, communication skills, patience and positive relationships.

Every child is supported by a dedicated Key Person who provides personalised care, secure attachments and consistent support throughout their nursery journey. Our experienced Early Years Educators carefully observe each child and provide engaging activities and learning opportunities that support school readiness, creativity, problem-solving skills and emotional wellbeing.

Children are encouraged to develop independence and essential life skills through practical life experiences such as food preparation, caring for their environment, setting tables and self-care routines. These meaningful experiences help strengthen concentration, fine motor skills, confidence and early mathematical and writing foundations.

Our rolling snack approach encourages children to make independent choices, develop self-help skills and build confidence within a calm, language-rich and nurturing environment.
