Our recent Mock Ofsted Inspection (Pre-Inspection Visit) provided a valuable opportunity to reflect on our practice and evaluate the impact of our provision on children’s learning and development.
The visit recognised many strengths across our setting, particularly in the quality of education, safeguarding, inclusive practice, and leadership, while also supporting our ongoing journey of continuous improvement.
A Strong and Embedded Safeguarding Culture
Safeguarding is effective and securely embedded within daily practice.
Staff demonstrate a clear and confident understanding of their responsibilities, contributing to a vigilant and proactive safeguarding culture.
Children are cared for in an environment where they feel safe, secure, and emotionally supported, enabling them to explore and learn with confidence.
High-Quality, Inclusive Practice
We provide a fully inclusive environment, where every child is recognised as an individual.
Through effective partnerships with families and external professionals, children, including those with SEND, are well supported to access the curriculum and make progress from their starting points.
Practitioners know children well and adapt experiences to meet their emerging needs and interests.
An Ambitious and Thoughtfully Sequenced Curriculum
Our curriculum reflects a clear intent: to develop independent, confident, and curious learners. By combining Montessori principles with the EYFS framework, we provide a well-sequenced and engaging learning experience that builds on what children already know.
